Website Management Milton Keynes
Here at Makilo, we provide website management to support companies like yours with website changes, monthly maintenance and web hosting. We’re not saying you need all three of the above, as you may only need our support with one. Either way, we have you covered.
I’ve broken down our website management below to give you a perspective of what this looks like.
Makilo endeavour to provide a high level of quality support for our clients. Our level of support can be tailored to your needs, from monthly content updates to page creation and post uploads or advanced web design and development. Also, we can provide training to you and your team if you’d prefer to do website changes in-house. We are upfront about requests and your dedicated account manager will let you know in advance if we can address them straight away or require additional development time.
We review each month and plan for the next if the work requires carrying across into the following months. Support requests usually come in via email/phone and we use a management tool where requests are logged and progress tracked.
Monthly Website Maintenance & Security
Our monthly maintenance involves rolling out updates to your websites content management system (e.g. WordPress), theme, plugins and security updates. This includes up to 1 hour of support to perform updates and testing per month. The testing procedure includes checking the website over to make sure it hasn’t fallen over and all is working after rolling out the updates.
By regularly updating your website, you can help prevent security threats and gain access to the latest features.
If your website is a Laravel build, our experienced Laravel developer is here to provide maintenance to keep Laravel patched and up-to-date.
Managed Web Hosting
If you require managed web hosting, we can provide hosting for WordPress and Laravel sites. Websites we host are put on their own server so that you’re not sharing resources with anyone else. Our managed web hosting includes setting up and managing daily backups, operating system security updates, firewall, SSL certificate and caching.
Another option we provide is eco-friendly web hosting. We’re finding more and more companies (including our client the National Energy Foundation) are finding ways to reduce their carbon impact, even when it comes to their website. The biggest change you can make to your website in terms of reducing carbon is by using a web hosting provider that has data centres powered by renewable energy.
